Brittany is a Registered Psychologist who supports adults and youth navigating challenges connected to both past and present experiences. Her approach focuses on building insight, awareness and understanding - then using that knowledge to create a clear way forward. She believes that when people feel safe, connected and grounded in the present moment, space opens to make choices that support their wellbeing. At the centre of her work is the therapeutic relationship and she takes a collaborative, person-centred approach grounded in trust, curiosity and compassion.
Outside of her work as a psychologist, Brit has always felt deeply connected to nature and animals. She is often found running in the Edmonton River Valley, backcountry camping in the Rocky Mountains or exploring new trails with her dog, Finn. Time outdoors is something she believes can be healing in itself. Her connection with animals has also shaped the way she views life and therapy - believing they remind us to live with presence, honesty, forgiveness and less judgment. She is grateful to have Finn and Bug by her side and as partners in therapy work.
In her practice Brittany supports individuals navigating difficult past experiences, school or work-related challenges and struggles with emotional regulation or life transitions. She offers a calm and open-hearted space to build understanding, develop tools and move forward with confidence.
Brit, Registered Psychologist
Little Bug is a Norwegian Fjord Horse, living in Canada, who is curious, playful, kind and sensitive. He loves supporting people in deepening connection, exploring boundaries, building trust and finding self-acceptance. Bug is the only Fjord in his herd (and barn) but he does not let his unique appearance and quirky personality bring him down. He is young and wise, playful and grounded, wiggly and calm. These things may sound like opposing traits but Bug teaches us to explore all parts of ourselves and offers beautiful lessons to everyone he meets.
Finn is a PhD canine psychologist who has been supporting clients for over 10 years. He is a wise and deeply caring little soul who holds space for everyone he meets. Finn loves greeting clients who visit the office and helping them find their way to office #6. Finn enjoys play bursts with kids who need a smile, holding quiet space in sessions, and taking deep snoozes to promote a sense of calm. He is an incredibly special soul and brings joy to everyone he meets.
