Reclaim offers individual therapy to support youth and adults through transitions, emotional challenges and difficult past experiences.
These sessions provide a collaborative space for adults to explore personal growth, integration of past experiences, transitions, emotional challenges and enhanced self-awareness. Brittany works from a process based lens, supporting adults in understanding how experiences and beliefs contribute to our day-to-day coping and relationships.
Brittany often works with adults who have experienced trauma, life transitions, neurodiversity, identity related struggles, mood and regulation issues, challenges with communication and disconnection from self.

Brittany has worked with children and families for over 10 years. She has extensive experience working with children with complex regulation challenges, difficulties in school, anxiety, neurodiversity, trauma and attachment related struggles. When working with children under the age of 13, Brittany requires parental involvement in order to support change and an integration of the ideas explored in therapy. This may look like parents joining at the beginning or end of their child's session or as separate parent consultation sessions, where parenting strategies and therapeutic concepts are explored and expanded on. Brittany respects the importance of safety and confidentiality in sessions and works collaboratively with children to balance privacy and parental support.

Brittany values the insight, depth and complexity that comes with adolescence. She enjoys creating a space where teens can explore their experiences, values, relationships and emotions in a flexible, safe and non-judgmental environment. Brittany often supports adolescents navigating challenges such as relationship difficulties, school-related stress, trauma, emotional regulation, self-harm, sport-related anxiety, family conflict and identity exploration.
When working with teens over the age of thirteen, Brittany makes every effort to maintain privacy and confidentiality. If safety concerns require parental or adult involvement, she works collaboratively with teens to find a path forward that feels supportive and respectful. Teens are always welcome to invite parents or guardians into sessions, if that feels helpful to their process.

EFW work involves working on the ground with myself and one or more horses. This form of therapy offers a safe, nonjudgemental and body-centered approach to exploring various mental health concerns in a less traditional setting. Equine assisted approaches have been shown to be effective in supporting people who are experiencing the impacts of PTSD, depression, and anxiety as well as a new way to explore communication in a physical way. EFW is also an inclusive and supportive setting for for clients who may find an office setting overwhelming, as it does not rely on talk therapy and instead explores regulation, physical boundaries and communication from a wider lens.
